Hi Julie I'm Anne, just hit 50!!! Have had RA 2 years now. I have a 24 year old, 22 year old, and 18 year old. I'm now on Humira which is working well for me. Do tell us all a bit about yourself if you'd like to. Take care Anne

Hello Julie and welcome, I am Barbara, diagnosed in July 2009, and on methotrexate and hydroxychloroquine, soon to go onto anti-TNF I am married to Roy with four grown children, youngest being 18. Working as a childminder 3 days a week. Looking forward to reading your posts, take care x BARBARA

Hello Julie A warm welcome to the forum, good you have found us as you will always have so much support and understanding with the RA. I m 55 and have had RA for little over two years now, and hoping that the Cimzia anti-tnf drug will be the one for me  as you may well know it can be a bit trial and error finding the right ones that work. Hello Julie and welcome. My name is Naomi. I was diagnosed on 25th August 2011 so am a novice to RA and to this website. Welcome to the forum. Hopefully, you will find support, encouragement and friendship on here as well as having a giggle from time to time.
I'm Jean 69, diagnosed about 9 years ago. I'm married to Steve, have one daughter, Lucy, a great s-i-l and two beautiful grandchildren aged 3 and 6 (well, I'm their Granny so I am allowed to say they are beautiful!).

Hi Julie, a big welcome to the forum. Im Heather 48 had RA for 2 years and am on mx and hydroxy with a view to going on anti tnf in the future.
You;ll find a wealth of knowledge on this site, its a great help especially in the early days when you dont know which way is up!

i've learnt so much from the Forum, and there's always someone to help you.
i'm 58 married with a 29 year old daughter long flown the next,
have failed on Methotrexate and Hydroxy and have just started on Humira.

Welcome to you . This forum is great for advice, friends who ALL know what you are dealing and putting up with.
I am Rose from Somerset, aged 57, diagnosed 2008. Failed on DMARDS and ! TNF (Humira), just been council for Rituxamab - so fingers crossed. I am married to Mike and had 2 children and 1 Grand daughter.
